Multidisciplinary Experience & Expertise

I am a trained architect and registered Building Designer in Tasmania. I am passionate about sustainable and human-centered design, and strive to create spaces that are healthy and sensible to people, the environment, and the neighborhood.

My approach involves co-designing with users to ensure that each project is not only functional but also enriches them and their community. Through my career I’ve been involved in residential, commercial, educational, heritage, and public projects.

As part of my advocacy for sustainable built environments, socially responsible development and master planning, and the need to preserve and enhance what’s unique about Tasmania and our heritage, I serve as an elected member and planning authority in a local government in Tasmania.

With more than 25 years of experience as a design consultant my degrees include:

a Post Graduate Degree in Sustainable Built Environment from the University of New South Wales,
a Bachelor of Architecture from Ricardo Palma University,
an Advanced Diploma in Business Management,
a Certificate IV in Marketing,
a Diploma in Events Management,
and studies in photography, fashion design, arts, and carpentry.

How we Work

As a design consultant, I provide expert advice and guidance throughout the design process of your building project. My role involves collaborating with you to understand your needs and preferences, developing creative and functional design solutions, and ensuring that the project aligns with regulatory standards and budget constraints.

I often work closely with other design consultants, engineers, and builders to integrate various aspects of the project, from initial concept to final execution. My responsibilities may include site analysis, space planning, architecture design, material selection, and sustainability considerations. By leveraging my expertise, I help you make informed decisions, optimise the use of space, and achieve aesthetically pleasing and practical outcomes.

Essentially, I act as a bridge between your vision and the technical execution of the project, ensuring that the final design meets both your expectations and planning and industry standards.
