I prioritise the unique features of each site, analysing the specific micro-climatic conditions to create homes that are not only beautiful but also perfectly suited to their environment.
My home designer approach has a focus on indoor-outdoor integration, natural materials, and open-plan living. I strive to make every home a resort-feel home with seamless transitions between indoor and outdoor areas, courtyards for privacy, and expansive alfresco spaces. Using large sliding or bi-fold doors and windows, I design to blur the lines between indoor and outdoor spaces, enhancing your connection to nature. My interiors feature timber, stone, and concrete, with neutral color palettes and natural textures for a serene environment.

When you reach out, we’ll discuss your project and, if possible, visit your site. I’ll also send you a few questions to gather all the necessary information to prepare a proposal for you.
The proposal will detail everything that needs to be done during the concept design, development application, and building application stages. Once you approve and return it, I’ll start working on your concept designs immediately.
Then, it’s time for me to design. I’ll provide you with the initial draft of your concept, based on your ideas and what’s important to you in designing your new home. You’ll receive a comprehensive floor plan showing the rooms and furniture. This way, you can do a virtual walk-through of your home and consider any design changes according to your daily lifestyle and needs. My main goal is to create a design that perfectly suits your needs and that responds to the micro-climatic conditions of the place, so no matter how many revisions are needed, I want you to absolutely love your design.
Once you’re completely satisfied with your concept and ready to proceed, I’ll submit it to the council for approval. This involves ensuring the design meets all planning scheme requirements. I’ll handle all communications with the council to ensure their requirements are met and the proposal is accepted as efficiently as possible.
After the council has approved the concept and given the green light for construction, I’ll begin applying for a build permit and produce detailed working drawings suitable for a builder and compliant with Australian standards and building codes. This stage also involves coordinating with engineers, energy raters, building surveyors, and any other professionals required for your project. As always, I’ll manage and oversee this entire process for you.
Finally, once your plans are finalised and all signed off, you’ll have full development approval to start the construction of your home. From here, you’ll work alongside your builder who has everything they need to begin your build. I’ll still be here every step of the way if you or your building team have any questions.
